All of our visits begin with a stay at our Volcan Verde field station on San Cristobal Island. The field station has lodging for 28 people, full dining service, air conditioning, wifi, hot showers, and modern, comfortable cabins.

Packages
We prefer to work with you to custom build the perfect visit. We have created plans from 3 days to 3 weeks or anywhere in between. We will take all of your needs and wants into consideration. This sample 8-day plan is our most common, and is ideal for introductory groups in any natural sciences.
Sample Itinerary 8-Day Galapagos Overview Tour
Day 1: Arrive in San Cristobal; tour of Puerto Baqerizo Moreno, the political capital of the province; arrive at Volcan Verde, settle in, become familiar with the field station and guides. Overview of Galapagos Islands geology and ecology at our Education Center. Enjoy nature!
Day 2: Visit the first bay where Charles Darwin landed. Snorkel with sea lions and beautiful tropical fish. Visit the Galapagos National Park Interpretation Center. Walk to Carolina Beach to walk with the sea lions. Visit the campus of Universidad San Francisco Quito and the Galapagos Science Center to learn about education and research efforts from global experts.
Day 3: Tour of lava fields at Punta Pucuna, snorkeling at Kicker Rock, coastal features of San Cristobal Island, with beach landings.
Day 4: Tour the highlands of San Cristobal Island; Junco Lagoon, visit with local farmers to understand sustainable practices, tour of birds and vegitation in the highland environment.
Day 5: Day trip to Española Island; hiking tour to see nesting sites of albatross and boobies, see the famous “blowhole” geologic feature, see the green and red colored marine iguanas.
Day 6: Transfer to Santa Cruz Island, walk with wild Galapagos Tortoises, explore lava tunnels and enormous collapse craters.
Day 7: Day trip to Bartolome Island
Day 8: Transport to the Baltra Airport, and fly back to Quito and connecting international flights.
